Mind you, that is not the driver for the Viper Ultimate. If you have that plugged into your PC USB port it will prompt you to install Synapse and a driver for it. My Razer Viper Ultimate comes with a dock for charging. I cannot stress how much Synapse is like a virus. I think they fixed it ~a year ago but I haven't installed Razer software in a long time. When I just have the drivers from all other mice installed they all work totally normal but as soon as you install Synapse they all suddenly run ~50 DPI above or below what they should be.īy the way that 50DPI thing is a bug that used to also affect your Razer products. I use several mice depending on my workload (including a 3Dconnexion space mouse) and having the Razer driver installed messes up DPI on all my other mice. Literally prompts you to install ~20 additional Razer software addons when you use it.Īnd their driver that gets installed with it is awful. Somehow they hijack your system with Synapse so deep it gets the highest priority of all programs running on your PC.Īlso it's the most bloated piece of software ever written. This happens RIGHT on the blue "we are updating windows" screen where normally you'd be waiting for windows to load. Note: This is not happening after the PC booted, all apps are loaded etc. It's the only software on my PC that shows me a pop up, urging me to install some useless shit EVERY TIME I run a windows update. Trust me when I say Synapse is like a fucking virus.
